Dukto is a no-frills file transfer app that is designed to help transfer files over a Local Area Network, or LAN. The program is remarkably simple. It must be installed on two different computers. From there, using the Local Area Network, you can begin to transfer files between the computers.

Many users have noted that the program is very quick to use. It is easy to install and easy to operate, making life much simpler for anyone interested in moving files between programs. Furthermore, there are no limits between file sizes: Files can be as big or as small as you need them to be. Furthermore, the program is highly flexible for computers and will work on many platforms.

There are some challenges with this program, of course. There are virtually no configuration options: The program works exactly how it says it does, with no real way of changing anything. Furthermore, there is no mobile version. This means that you have to get files from a mobile device to your computer in some other way. It also appears that the program is relatively old at this point, with the latest update occurring in 2015. As such, there are more up to date programs that have been released since then.
